Pembroke, Ontario is my hometown. Prior to attending law school, I was an Ontario Provincial Police Constable for ten (10) years and during that time I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Ottawa. I then graduated from the University of Ottawa Law School and I have been practicing law in Renfrew County since 1984.

I am currently on the Board of Directors of Columbus House (Pembroke) Inc., which is an organization that seeks to improve the quality of life for youth in Renfrew County. After articling in Ottawa I was excited to return to Pembroke, my hometown, to pursue my legal career. I am a graduate of Queen’s University, Faculty of Law where I received my Juris Doctor. Prior to law school, I completed my undergraduate studies at McMaster University where I received a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Kinesiology.
During law school I was a member of Queen’s Legal Aid and have continued my involvement with the association by acting as duty counsel in Family Court and for tenants at the Landlord and Tenant Board.
In 2010 I was called to the Ontario bar and am a member of the Renfrew County Law Association and the Law Society of Upper Canada.
I am an active member of the athletic community in Renfrew County and in my spare time can be found on the soccer field or on the volleyball court.
